nJ. Rafael Angel is a certified Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction Trainer and
nConsultant. He is a highly experienced IB Continuum educator (IB PYP, MYP, and DP), IB
nMYP examiner, IB Workshop leader (Inquiry, Approaches to Teaching and Learning,
nAssessment, Curriculum, and Language), and has led Teacher Support Material Projects
nfor the IB MYP. He has written for the International Journal of Continuing Engineering
nEducation and Lifelong Learning, and the International Association for Development of the
nInformation Society. He collaborates as a World Language Concept-Based Instruction
nSpecialist in the Lynn Erickson and Lois Lanning’s CBCI Summer Institute. Rafael blogs
nextensively about teaching and learning, and language acquisition at
